China technician conducted battery life tests on Apple’s latest iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, and compared the results with various mainstream smartphones. The results were shocking. Apple’s two new iPhones have worse battery life than the iPhone X released last year.
During the battery life test, adjust the brightness of the screen to 150 nits, turn off the automatic brightness adjustment and the TrueTone function, and browse the web on a 4G network. The iPhone XS Max lasts 10 hours and 38 minutes, and the iPhone XS lasts 9 hours and 41 minutes. Last year’s iPhone X lasted 10 hours and 49 minutes.
IPhone XS and XS Max defeated the Android camp’s HTC U12 + (9 hours and 13 minutes) and LG G7 ThinQ (8 hours and 35 minutes). Other flagship smartphones in the Android camp have achieved better results than the iPhone XS and XS Max. Huawei P20 Pro (14 hours and 13 minutes), Google Pixel 2 XL (12 hours and 9 minutes), Samsung Galaxy Note 9 (11 hours and 26 minutes), OnePlus 6 (11 hours and 22 minutes).
